Just Keep Peeling

The world will grow you.
Each year adding another layer of expectation.
Dictating who you become, which path you are willing to follow.
But the world has it wrong.
There is only one intention over your life and only you can know the uniqueness of its derivation.
You must set the pottery wheel in motion, creating the one and only masterpiece intended by its creator.
But it will take time.
Time to peel back the layers of lies formed like cement walls in your mind, concealing the truth of your heart.
That’s alright because the time has purpose and value too.
It all does.
The missteps and confusion.
The trail that never seems to lead to contentment.
All of it becomes part of the recipe.
What you fail to see in the present will astonish you in the end.
But only after every layer is released.
Allowed to die.
Opening space for your truest self to emerge.

Let go.
Trust the process.
Relinquish control.
Clench faith.
There is no greater glory to this life than when one turns the world away, seeking only answers from within.
It is here that all happiness for each individual exists.
